Bulgarian Road Authorities have the following restrictions regarding land cargo transport:
- by weight: 24t gross weight / 20GP ; 28t gross weight / 40 GP.
- by height: maximum 4 m. For 40HC units relevant surcharge is applicable
Special permission is needed for road transportation of cargo exceeding above limitations, as well as for transportation of dangerous goods.
Full details of dangerous cargo should be submitted to local authorities 24 hours before vessel/truck arrival.
For IMO cargoes - no free storage period is granted by Port Authorities.
Import customs manifest should be submitted to Customs House 24 hours before vessel arrival. The manifest must be supported by a copy of loading cargo manifest or B/L copies.
