About OOCL in Cambodia

The Country

The kingdom of Cambodia is located in the Mekong sub-region, bordered by Thailand to the West and North, Laos to the North and Vietnam to the East and South-East, and the gulf of Thailand to the South-East.

Cambodia is 181,035 square kilometers and home to more than 13 million people. It is also one of the most populated cultural tourist destinations, offering the famous Angkor Wat Temple – one the world’s most magnificent architectural wonders. Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh is the center of politics, the economy and industry; about 95% of garment factories are located in the capital city.

Cambodia is a garment-export country and its only sole deep sea port is Sihanoukville: the most important economic outlet and also the future core of the commercial, industrial, and tourist development.
