Port/Marine Terminal/Rail updates as follows:

New York

The Port Authority's maritime facilities will remain closed until further notice. The port terminals that are closed are Port Newark Container Terminal, Port Elizabeth Marine Terminal, Port Jersey Marine Terminal, Howland Hook (New York Container Terminal) on Staten Island and the Brooklyn-Port Authority Marine Terminal. Rail ramp operations are suspended until further notice.

Vessel Diversions and Delays

With the continued closure of the ports in NYC/NJ there will be several cargo vessel diversions and delays.  As these plans are finalized, an email notification will be sent to all affected customers with further information.

NYC Colleagues all Safe and Sound
 
We are very happy to share the news that following Hurricane Sandy, which hit the East Coast of the US earlier this week causing widespread destruction and flooding, that all of our NYC colleagues have been located and are safe and sound.  While many still have no power and damage to their property, they are all ok.
