For safety considerations, OOCL’s Chengdu office will remain closed on May 15, 2008 but continues to offer limited online services. Until Chengdu office resumes normal operation, OOCL Chongqing office will provide backup for daily operation and related services. All other OOCL offices in China operate normally.
Railway service from Shanghai to Chengdu is still running but only carrying disaster relief cargo. All box trains in and out of Chengdu have been suspended until further notice.
