The ongoing aftermath of the Wenchuan earthquake is beginning to subside, with only one aftershock recorded in the morning of May 15, 2008. Electricity, civil gas, drinking water supplies and telecommunications in Chengdu have resumed as normal.
Times Plaza, the location of OOCL’s Chengdu office, remains a no-entry zone due to ongoing safety checks. OOCL Chengdu will reserve a hotel room to act as a temporary office from May 16. Detailed contact information will be reported tomorrow morning after check-in.
