OCEAN Alliance – Kickoff Reminders from OOCL

 

Dear Customer,

With reference to our press release dated November 3rd 2016 <OCEAN Alliance Sets Out Network>, we are pleased to announce that OCEAN Alliance will commence operations on schedule from April 1st 2017.

 

To facilitate a smooth transition to OCEAN Alliance, we would like to draw your kind attention to the followings: -

v  G6 to OCEAN Alliance services transition

The transition from the last sailings in G6 and the first sailings in OCEAN Alliance is summarized in the attached file for your easy reference.

v  Ocean Alliance services’ Sailing Schedule

All export sailing schedules with the CY/SI & VGM cut-off time have been updated in www.oocl.com, including the feeder schedule from Hong Kong to Yantian/ Shekou and connection onto trunk vessels for AET services.

v  e-Forms

Dangerous Good (DG) Certificate form has been revised. Please click here to obtain the updated forms.

 

v  Points to note

·         Late come request – it must be submitted to OOCL 0.5 working day before CY cut-off. Late request may not be considered;

·         South China’s Agent (AG) cutoff -  we have extended the agent cutoff time to be the same as Release Voucher (RV) cutoff. It provides more time for customer to arrange customs declaration;

·         Dangerous goods (DG) bookings must be submitted at least 3 working days before vessel arrival at the loading port. In addition, an accurate DG Certificate with complete and necessary details is a must. Without which, we will be unable to confirm/ release booking on your requested vessel.

·         Out-of-Gauge (OOG) booking must be submitted at least 6 calendar days before CY cut off. Detailed commodity & precise cargo dimension information must be provided.

·         Payment methods of shipments from/to Sudan:-

1.     For payments in Hong Kong – must be paid by cheque in HKD only, please issue company’s cheque in favor of “Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd” and send the cheque to our Kwun Tong office at 16/F, One Harbour Square, 181 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Attention to Finance Department.

2.     For payments in China – must be paid in RMB to our 深圳平安银行红宝支行 with payable to “东方海外货柜航运(中国)有限公司深圳分公司” and the account number is 11002911378401.
