Technical Engineer (Ref: TE/CargoSmart/ZHA-ISDC)

Accountabilities

• You will be responsible for finalizing the technology through prototyping in line with business needs; selecting and designing the application system to align with business requirements; performing software architectural design and review, web service application design, development and testing; performing the application systems integration and systems implementation, model design, application tuning and capacity planning; performing problem diagnosis and performance bottleneck analysis and providing leadership for the software development work.

Requirements

• University Graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines
•  Over 4 years’ working experience on Enterprise application development with 2 years supervisory exposure in software development
•  Knowledge in Web Service, .NET framework, VS.NET, .NET SDK library, SOAP/XML, ODBC and RDBMS integration. JSP, J2EE, EJB is preferred
•  Extensive knowledge on OO Analysis, Design and modeling is required. Familiarize the UML Object modeling is necessary.
• Good exposure on implementing solution on Oracle DB ,TopLink, OC4J is prefere
• Excellent communication and requirement analysis skills.
• Proficient on programming technique to establish standard and guideline, and participate in framework design.
• Able to formulate IT solution by carrying out product evaluation and POC exercise.
• Knowledge on logistics business will be a positive advantage.
• Candidate with less experience may be considered to handle junior programming work.
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English is a must
