OOCL has been named as “Best of the Best” ocean carrier by US-based World Trade Magazine, in a survey of more than 19,000 readers who ship products using ocean carriers. The results were published as part of a new editorial feature, “Performance Partners Awards of Excellence”.
The study, conducted by Clear Seas Research on behalf of the publication, asked respondents to rank the importance of different attributes in determining how they choose their carriers, and to evaluate their satisfaction with their carriers based on those attributes.
The five most important attributes listed were: port-to-port on time performance; worldwide price of services; a reliable partner in our global supply chain; the provider that helps us save money across the globe; and global customer service.
Mean satisfaction scores for each of the categories was compared amongst carriers and based on aggregate ratings across the range of top characteristics, OOCL was selected as one of the top companies.
