 Customer Advisory: OOCL announces rate increases on Asia - Australia services
  The economic downturn has led to a weakening of revenue levels to the extent that freight rates are unable to cover basic operating or transportation costs. Considering that current levels are unsustainable for the long term, OOCL would like to advise that we will introduce a rate restoration program in order to restore freight rates to a more sustainable level.

 Customer Advisory: Indamex service to add direct Savannah call
  OOCL is pleased to advise our customers that, in an effort to better align our service with customer requirements, a direct Savannah call will be added to our Indamex service, providing further direct connections between the Indian Subcontinent and the South Atlantic East Coast.

 Transatlantic Gateway Express Westbound Peak Season Reefer Surcharge
  OOCL would like to inform our valued customers that with the onset of the winter peak season for reefer cargo, the demand for reefer plugs on our westbound sailings from Europe to Montreal exceeds supply. In order to maintain a high level of customer service with a minimum of cargo disruption, we are introducing a Peak Season Reefer Surcharge.

 Customer Advisory: Trans-Atlantic trade general rate increase
  Ocean freight rates continue to be below the required level to cover basic operating costs or transportation costs. Considering that the current levels are unsustainable for the long term, we are announcing the second phase of our rate restoration programme which will be applied on January 1st, 2010.
