Trans-Pacific East Coast Winter Program

In anticipation of the reduced demand during the winter slack season,  the Grand Alliance (GA), ZIM and Hyundai agreed to merge their SCE and SCE2 Asia/USEC all water services into a new SCE combo loop for the winter period with the following details: 

•         SCE:  The last sailing will be the America Express (ACX 003E) with ETD

            Kaohsiung - October 28

            Shekou - October 30

            Hong Kong - October 31

•         SCE 2:  The last sailing will be the NYK Remus (NRE 015E) with ETD

            Pusan - October 24

            Shanghai - October 26

            Xiamen - October 28

            Shekou - October 29

            Hong Kong - October 29

            Yantian - October 30

•         New SCE Combo Port Rotation: Pusan – Xiamen – Kaohsiung – Shekou – Yantian – Hong Kong – Manzanillo (Panama) – Kingston – New York – Norfolk – Charleston – Savannah – Kingston – Manzanillo (Panama) – Pusan

•         Commencement Date: First sailing will be ZIM Ontario (ZOR 011E) on Week 44 with ETD Pusan October 31.

•         Duration:  The GA members will continue to closely monitor market conditions while this service arrangement runs until approximately March of 2012.
