OOCL announces rate increase on Southeast Asia-Australia services

To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to cater to our customer requirements, OOCL is implementing the next phase of our revenue recovery program for our Southeast Asia-Australia services.

With effect from August 1, 2011, freight rates for traffic from Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East) to Australia will be increased by USD 300 per TEU.
