Trans-Atlantic Trade Update – EMA service launch postponement
Dear Valued Customer,
In light of the rapidly changing market situation, and following our customer advisory on
February 6, we have decided to postpone the launch of the new East Mediterranean – America Service (EMA) by three weeks until April 25.
As such, the first commencing voyage from the Mediterranean (westbound) will now be:
| Week | Sailing | Port | Berth ETA |
| 17 | EMA-BOB-200 W | Haifa | April 25 |
The first departing voyage from North America (eastbound) will now be:
| Week | Sailing | Port | Berth ETD |
| 21 | EMA-BOB-200 E | Savannah | May 20 |
Our local customer service representatives will be happy to assist you with any questions concerning alternate routings due to the postponement. Meanwhile, shipments that are already booked on the affected voyages will be allocated to our
ATM1 or ATE1 Trans-Atlantic services upon arrival at the transshipment ports for westbound shipments, and to the
ATM1 or IEX1 services for eastbound shipments.
Thank you for your understanding and support of OOCL.
