Asia-Africa Trade – WAF3 Service Update

Dear Valued Customer,

In response of customer demand and to offer enhanced services in OOCL’s West Africa network, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a direct port call to Onne, Nigeria, in our West Africa Service 3 (WAF3) product.

This addition to the WAF3 product offers customers the option to better connect their shipments between the main ports in China to Onne and the West African market.

Tema will be the first port in West Africa under the new port rotation, offering competitive transit times from Asia as the transit time can now be shortened by over a week when compared to the previous product structure.

New port rotation for WAF3:
Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Shekou – Nansha – Singapore – Tema – Lome – Cotonou – Onne – Tema – Colombo – Port Kelang – Singapore – Shanghai

The effective sailing will be via the mv. SILVIA (SIV381W), with an ETA at Shanghai on January 12.

This product change will result in the withdrawal of port calls to Tincan (TICT / Port & Cargo) from the WAF3 service, but customers can continue to take advantage of our WAF1 service for shipments to Tincan (TICT) (as well as Apapa) directly.

Should you have any questions or enquiries, please feel free to approach our local customer service representatives.

Thank you for your continued support of OOCL.
