Dear Valued Customer, OOCL would like to notify you that the BREXIT transition period will end on 31st December 2020 at 23:00 GMT, after which, Great Britain (GB) will no longer be a part of a Safety and Security Zone with European Union (EU).
There will be a new Safety and Security declarations requirements for cargo moving to Great Britain (Including England, Scotland & Wales) which called a Safety & Security (S&S) Declaration to a system named S&S GB. This S&S filing will cover all import, transhipment and Freight Remain on Board (FROB) cargo.
Northern Ireland remains as a part of the European Union (EU) Customs, due to the terms of the Northern Ireland Protocol special consideration made to protect its soft border with the Republic of Ireland.
To comply with this regulation, you are required to provide complete and accurate shipping instructions (SI) before the SI cutoff time. This information will be published in our Booking Acknowledgements(BA).
