For more than 14 years, the explosive dance, theater and percussion extravaganza, STOMP has thrilled audience with its rhythmic and funny performances, and it now heads to Australia and New Zealand to make some noise on the other side of the equator!

Internationally adored and roundly praised, STOMP is a high-spirited show of physical power, music, dance and humor. It is a show that is guaranteed to set everyone’s pulse racing with the wild rhythms of percussion on the move.

Now in its 14th year of performance, having played over 10,000 performances to over 10 million people in forty-two countries across five continents; STOMP is a remarkable theatrical phenomenon.

Performers use household objects such as garbage bins, brooms, drums and matches in non-traditional ways to create amazing music and dance. High-energy, fast-moving and physically spectacular, STOMP’s mix of bodies, objects and sounds are performed with humor and theatrical finesse.

The Logistics
OOCL has earned the reputation of being the premier ocean carrier to sponsor West End and Broadway musicals.

OOCL is the official ocean carrier of STOMP, moving the stage sets, instruments and costumes from the UK to Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, Australia, to Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand, via Singapore, for performances from late May to July 2006. In support of the tour, the supplies have to arrive at every destination on time – in keeping with the showbiz motto: 'the show must go on'. OOCL has deployed a 40-feet High Cube container to carry the supplies, and used its industry-leading IT to co-ordinate the entire cargo process.

The production team is personally updated at every stage of the transportation chain, ensuring every procedure is transparent and perfectly managed. Through OOCL's ‘We Take It Personally’ spirit, the OOCL team reserves the right vessel, orders the right equipment, and updates the show's production team of the progress of the move.
