My life in OOCL started in 1999 as a Customer Services Representative. With the booming business expansion of OCHL in the past decade, I was fortunate enough to catch the ‘career development express’ through various job rotation opportunities.
I cherished the experience of working in customer services/operations on the frontline, which helped me master basic shipping knowledge and broaden my business perspective. Being a member of the Business Process and System team also let me witness the development of OOCL’s advanced IT capability and professional process improvement towards quality of service. Today, I treasure my current team – Japan Regional Group Center which includes multiple functions. My position provides me with a great chance to gain more business knowledge as well as an in-depth understanding of requirements from customers of different cultural backgrounds. I enjoy working with our passionate and efficient colleagues. I am excited by company initiatives and projects which help enhance my personal knowledge and skills. With this kind of support I believe I can create more value for our customers and the company. It is an honor for me to work in OOCL. No matter which position I hold, I get great support from my professional colleagues in various offices in this multi-cultural company.
