While I was still a student at Shanghai Maritime University, it was my dream to work for a famous leading global carrier and this dream came true in 2002 when I joined OOCL Shenzhen as customer services manager, South PRC.

In the past 12 years, I have had the chance to work in a variety of offices and departments.  From customer services to sales, frontline to head office, I have appreciated the way in which OOCL provides its staff with opportunities to continuously explore their interests and abilities.

During my time in customer services, I have been proud of OOCL’s IRIS2 system which provides the most up-to-date and accurate shipment statuses to our customers.  I was proud of the reliability of OOCL’s service products and vessel schedule while I was working in the sales department; it made my sales job easier and more enjoyable.  Now, as commercial manager of Intra-Asia Trade, I have many opportunities to represent OOCL at conferences where I can be even more proud due to OOCL’s strength – it is one of the top carriers in Intra-Asia Trade.

I am looking forward to further opportunities and developments in my career at OOCL.
