I joined OOCL in 1996 as a Junior Sales Clerk, after completing a degree in the Business Administration of the University of Economics in September 1995. At that time OOCL (Vietnam) was still under agency agreement with Gemartrans and I was appointed to work for OOCL exclusively. From the outset, I immediately admired OOCL's professional and people-oriented culture. After spending more than 10 years working on start-ups and never really wanting to go anywhere else, I am still here having fun and developing myself professionally with challenging and interesting work.
OOCL really offers great opportunities for people to develop vertically as well as laterally. Investing in its people is definitely a top priority for OOCL. While working here at OOCL I have been presented with many different opportunities to deal with various business situations, which has given me experience in many different areas.
