I started working with OOCL in 2001 as a contractor for the EDI Team and officially joined the OOCL family in mid-2002 as a programmer, performing EDI support functions. The experience of working on different sub-teams has really helped me to bring out my skills and talents. I have learned to be diplomatic when pressure calls, patient when things don’t go the way I want, and how to work as a team when there is so much to do. Having been promoted to Software Engineer in 2004, I have since handled various functions in EDI projects and have had the opportunity to work in both the Zhuhai and Hong Kong development centers in 2005 to gain business and working experience on cross-team projects.
My accomplishments have made me realize my own ability to serve and lead the people I work with. At the end of each day, how many hours I’ve spent working is not important, what’s important is that spend the day doing what I love to do, with the company that has taught me the value of its people. |
