​Steve Siu Talks on Cloud Computing and Social Media at Asia Innovation Agenda

OOCL CIO Steve Siu was recently invited to speak and co-moderate a discussion at the Asia Innovation Agenda event in Hong Kong, organized by Economist Corporate Network – a division of the renowned The Economist group.

Steve Siu co-moderated a discussion on the impact of cloud computing and utility resource models on Asian companies and Asia's role in the global economy.

After the discussion, Steve Siu was interviewed by Economist Corporate Network. He talked about the cloud computing strategy, its importance, and aligning it with ROI. He also shared his expert views on utilizing the strengths of corporate social networking tools to foster creativity and innovation.

He described that the essence of corporate social networking “is all about people's mentality and thinking. It is about how you encourage good ideas, start to get people interacting and talk about their ideas.”
