Fresh Graduates Successfully Complete HKIE Graduate Scheme "A" Training Programme

Being a socially responsible company, OOCL focuses community efforts towards nurturing young talents all the time. With the launch of the HKIE Graduate Scheme "A" training programme in 2009, 12 talented fresh graduates were invited to join the program.

Under the structured and intensive programme, they were provided with opportunities to perform and realize their full potential. Through various assignments and job rotations, they were given opportunities to interact with overseas end-users as well as technical professionals. Some of them even had opportunities to work overseas on various project assignments. Having practically and personally involved in system development, delivery of technical service and operation within OOCL's Information Service department, they are empowered to excel in even more challenging projects in the future.

In March/2011, 12 young IT professionals are heading to become Chartered Engineers under the IT discipline of HKIE. With our continuous support and motivation, they are now well-equipped to become our future team leaders.
