OOCL Announces New Gulf-India-Straits Service (GIS)
   
Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd., (OOCL) is pleased to announce that it will launch a new weekly service, linking the Middle East to India, Pakistan and Singapore / Malaysia, called the Gulf-India-Straits Service (GIS), in cooperation with Simatech Shipping.
Commencing on 10 May 2006, the new Gulf-India-Straits Service will be served with four 1,000-TEU containerships, with a rotation of Singapore / Pasir Gudang / Port Kelang / Nhava Sheva / Karachi / Jebel Ali / Bandar Abbas / Jebel Ali / Mundra / Cochin / and Singapore, for a 28-day roundtrip.

This service re-enforces OOCL’s dedication to quality assurance by providing additional frequency to/from Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East.
