Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd., (OOCL) is pleased to announce that it is launching a twice-weekly Taiwan/Hong Kong to Vietnam Express Service, serving Taiwan, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh, in cooperation with Evergreen Marine Corp. (Taiwan) Ltd., and Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (YML).
Commencing on 4 April 2006, the new Taiwan/Hong Kong/Ho Chi Minh Express Service (THX) will be served with three 900-TEU containerships, with a rotation of Kaohsiung, Keelung, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kaohsiung for a 21-day round trip. OOCL will contribute one vessel to the new service.
This event marks the the first occasion that OOCL has cooperated with Evergreen and Yang Ming in the Intra-Asia trade, and re-enforces OOCL’s dedication to quality assurance and the most efficient and reliable services available in the industry today.
