OOCL today announced it will offer a service connecting the East Mediterranean with South East Asia and USA/Canada East Coast on its AEX service with relay via Gioia Tauro. The service will start in Asia on OOCL Los Angeles ETD Singapore 30 September with ETA Gioia Tauro 13 October; and in North America on OOCL California ETD Halifax 28 September with ETA Gioia Tauro 6 October. Public feeder service will connect Gioia Tauro with Istanbul, Izmir, Haifa, Ashdod, Piraeus and Thessaloniki.
