| OOCL Charleston named at Geoje Shipyard, Korea |

OOCL is proud to announce on December 18, 2009, the christening of the twelfth Panamax class vessel in our line of sixteen 4,500-TEU vessels ordered from Samsung Heavy Industries.
The new vessel was christened the m.v. OOCL Charleston by sponsor Mrs Louisa Cheng, the wife of Mr Edward Cheng, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive, USI Holdings Limited, and Chairman, Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited. |

| Grand Alliance announces new direct Vietnam (Cai Mep) call |

Grand Alliance partners Hapag-Lloyd (HL), Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) announced today they will add a direct Vietnam call at Cai Mep deepwater port to their Asia East Coast Express (AEX) service, from 9th of January 2010. This additional link is a further improvement of the Grand Alliance service network |
