OOCL announces extension of Intra-Asia KTX3 service

OOCL is pleased to announce the extension of the KTX3 service on the Intra-Asia trade, with effect from June 27, 2010.

The extended KTX3 service will now call at Singapore, Jakarta and Port Kelang, and will provide increased frequency to and from Jakarta.  Direct service will be offered from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shekou to Jakarta and Port Kelang to Japan ports.

The port rotation will be as follows: Osaka / Tokyo / Nagoya / Yokkaichi / Kobe / Keelung / Hong Kong / Shekou / Singapore / Jakarta / Port Kelang / Singapore / Shekou / Hong Kong / Osaka on a 28 day round trip.

The service has been enhanced in response to increasing customer demand in the region. 

Four 2,200 TEU vessels will be deployed on the new service, upgraded from two vessels of 2,200 TEU.
