OOCL enhances eFolder in My OOCL Center
OOCL is delighted to announce an enhanced feature, ePouch, in the eFolder (Shipment Folder) of My OOCL Center, developed to meet the specific needs of our customers. My OOCL Center helps customers lower costs of doing business, saves time, and offers total transparency and maximum control.
The eFolder allows easy retrieval and record-keeping of documents, with the capability of providing full visibility to customers’ colleagues or partners, free of charge.
Three types of documents can be stored in the eFolder:
1) OOCL provided documents, eg. B/L, invoice, arrival notice, etc.
2) OOCL required documents, eg. DG certificate, export license, shipping instruction, etc.
3) User-defined documents, eg. commercial invoices, packing list, etc.
Customers may use the ePouch feature to send documents to third parties. OOCL has enhanced the ePouch feature in the eFolder to enable users to send both B/L copy and SOA (statement of account) to third parties. The process is simple and fast; the only item customers need is the email address of the recipients.
Existing customers with MOC or CargoSmart accounts can login to use this enhanced service for OOCL shipments. New users can register at http://www.oocl.com/ free of charge.
