Merchant agrees that this Bill of Lading constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. There are no understandings to the subject matter of this agreement other than as herein set forth, and any such actual or purported prior to or contemporaneous understandings or communications are hereby abrogated. No servant or agent of the Carrier shall have power to waive or vary any of the terms hereof unless such waiver or variation is in writing and is specifically authorized in writing by the Carrier. Subject to Clause 3, all agreements or freight engagements for the shipment of the Goods are superseded by this Bill of Lading.
