1. Road Limitations

• Cargo weight + Container tare must not exceed 29 tons.
• Special (triaxle) trucks for delivery of containers with cargo weight + container tare up to 34 tons.

2. DG Restriction

• Helsinki
  • Application for dangerous cargo to the port of Helsinki must be made for Class 1 and 7, as well as Class 2.1 (flammable gases) if more than 5000 kos, Class 2.3 (poisonous gases) if more than 5000 kos, Class 3.1 (flammable liquids with flaming point under –18 C) if more than 25000 kos and Class 5.2 (organic peroxides) if more than 5000 kos
  • Application for dangerous cargo must be send and confirmed before acceptance of booking
• Kotka
  • Application for dangerous cargo must be made one week prior arrival for classes 1, 5.2 and 7. Application must also be made for Class 6.1 to determine, if direct delivery necessary.

3. EDI (Electronic Data Exchange)

• The Helsinki-office is connected to the global OOCL EDI-network.
