Fos sur Mer - Situation update
July 18th 2008 - Communication from Terminal Operator Eurofos:
After Port meeting held July 17th PM, we expect for July/August to resume to normal productivity as from 20H00 today, reverting with confirmation.
Expect 4 hours strike per week by Port staff, no supplementary hours and no possibility for additional gantry crane drivers for the week end.
Ships waiting time week 28, around 1 week.
Port starting refurbishement works on gantries 07 and 08 then 4 over panamax + 1 panamax available until week 38.
Empty receipt at Eurofos still not accepted on terminal.
Eurofos vessels opened at gate for export: Wanhai 602, CMA/CGM Rossini, CMA/CGM Tulip, Rocio B, Lola B, MSC Dimam.
