Operational Restrictions

1. Customs requirements and port restrictions

Customs clearance for all inbound traffic must be declared by manifest 24hrs prior to arrival and non-EC goods are subject to supplementary Customs clearance for payment of duties and taxes.
Export cargo must be declared prior to loading on board vessel.

2. DG Restrictions

All DG cargoes need pre-advice notification for IMO classes 1-2.1-2.3-6.1 prior shipment. All IMO cargo to be discharged or routed via Le Havre needs pre-advice 48hrs prior to vessel arrival.

3. Road Limitations

The maximum gross weight authorised in France is a total of 40 tons all included -chassis ,truck, container tare and cargo weight (including genset in case of reefer) which means a maximum cargo weight of 22 tons.
