Hungarian eToll wef July 01st, 2013

Based on the decision of Hungarian Parliament we would like to inform you, that the mentioned new e-toll system was legalized in Hungary and is valid from 1st of July 2013 by operational launching of this system.

For vehicles weighing more than 3,5t will be freeways and highways usage charged based on the actual distance. When determining the toll charge, parameters like number of axles, total weight of vehicle and ecological category will be considered.

The additional costs deriving from this new toll system will affect all precarriage and oncarriage rates to/from Hungary eff. August 24th, 2013.
