Inbound Operation Restrictions during
National Day Holiday in South China
Dear Customers,
We would like to remind you that during the forthcoming National Day holiday, there will be operation restrictions for import shipments in South China (including Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan & Yunan) as following:
• For Hainan/ Guangxi/ Guizhou/ Yunnan and “Pearl River Delta” ports, including but not limited to Huangpu/ Foshan/ Sanshui/ Guangzhou/ Zhanjiang/ Zhongshan/ Zhuhai/ Jiangmen/ Shantou/ Huizhou/ Dongguan, all inbound Hazardous shipments will be prohibited from September 23 to October 7, 2013.
• For Shenzhen ports including Shekou/ Yantian/ Chiwan / Da Chan Bay, import operations are same as usual.
• For some ports in Hainan/ Guangxi and “Pearl River Delta” , the feeder service will be suspended during the holiday (September 30 to October 7, 2013).
Any demurrage/ detention incurred at transhipment port will be on account of cargo due to such restrictions during the aforesaid period. Please kindly arrange your shipment well in advance.
