New requirement for Shipment destined to Saudi Arabia
Dear Customers,
According to Saudi Arabia Customs’ new requirement, with immediate effect, for any shipment destined to Saudi Arabia, there is new requirement to show the related Numbers for Consignee in Bill of Lading.
OOCL respectful request our customers must to provide valid and accurate Numbers for consignee in the Shipping Instruction. The following Numbers are required to show in Consignee column after address:-
1) Consignee Importer Number, and
2) Consignee Commercial Registration (CR) Number, and
3) Consignee Mobile Number
If the Consignee is "To Order of Bank" then Notify Party has to provide such details.
In addition, for shipment destined to Saudi Arabia, below items are not acceptable:
1) Any foreign Consignee or Notify Party
2) Any in-transit clause showing cargo inland movement to a foreign country (out of Saudi Arabia).
