Terminal Handling Charge (THC) in South China

Dear Valued Customers,

In view of recent changes in the Chinese container shipping market, we would like to inform you that with effect from 24 April 2017, OOCL will revise the Terminal Handling Charge (THC) in South China ports.

Kindly please note there will be different THC quantum applicable for different ports in China based on various cost factors for different container size/type. For details, please refer to Local Surcharge tariff in oocl.com or use the following link.

Note:

  • Effective date would be based on shipment on-board date except for USA & Canada, which is based on cargo receiving date.
  • Effective Period : From 24 Apr 2017, valid until further notice and are governed by prevailing tariffs published on www.oocl.com unless otherwise agreed at time of shipment.
  • Please use the webpage link to “Tariff & Rate Enquiry” for full Price (including base rate, bunker related charges, security related charges and additional charges and surcharges reflecting high demand, such as Peak Season Surcharges) on www.oocl.com. Local surcharges and contingency charges may apply.
  • This notice does not include the service in Asia-Europe Trade. Please consult your local Sales Representative for more information.
