Agitation Postponed to 19th November 2012....


Dear Valued Customers,

This is to update you that as per recent update received; Project affected people (PAP) union staff have expressed their proposition regarding a strike against GTI by PAP’s in lieu of their  'unsettled’ demands.

If this strike starts successfully on 06th Nov 2012, movement of all containers in Nhava Sheva area will be stopped & there will be major impact on all 03 terminals at Nhava Sheva and alsoadjoining CFS’s in Nhava Sheva.

Offices in key operating premises ie. Port user building (PUB) and Anchorage building are also expected to be closed forcefully by PAP’s.

Meeting expected on 5th November @ 1630hrs between Jnpt Chairman/GTI Management & PAPReps.

While the port authorities are in further discussion today towards curbing the anticipated stoppage of work crisis, We shall keep you in apprised of the current situation, as and when we have more information.

There is likely impact on the below two voyages.

CIX :   OOCL JAKARTA-021E calling at GTI : ETA 07th Nov.2012
