OOCL INDONESIA EXPORT AND IMPORT EQUIPMENT FREE TIME/DETENTION
effective date June 6, 2008

Definition of Key Terms

Export Detention 
Free time shall commence with the first midnight after removal of the equipment from the on dock/off dock CY or CD, except that the hours of Sundays or Legal holidays will not be counted when computing free time, unless indicated above. Container must be returned to the CY from which obtained unless otherwise directed by carrier.

Export Demurrage  
For cargo ex Indonesia, all charges imposed by the terminals, including but not limited to storage, electricity and any other applicable charges starting from the container's stacking time in the CY until the time of the container's loading onto vessel shall be for the account of the cargo. All the aforementioned charges shall be settled directly between the terminal and shipper.



IMPORT EQUIPMENT FREE TIME AND DETENTION
 

Free Time commences at 00:01 after complete vessel discharge at port and ends at 24:00 hours on the last free time day. Counting of Free Time ends when the empty container is returned to Carrier’s Facility. Upon expiry of Free Time the following charges (per container per Calendar Day) shall apply.

FREE TIME AND DEMURRAGE
 
Demurrage free time shall be per terminal tariff.  Upon free time expiry, local terminal will charge the consignee direct for storage charge. 


CONTAINER DEPOSIT:
 
A temporary container deposit of IDR 450,000 per 20' and IDR 900,000 per 40' or 45' is applicable to all inbound shipments to Indonesia. This deposit is to be made with the Carrier prior to cargo is released. Consignee shall be entitled to receive full refund of this deposit subject to no equipment damage is found based on the Equipment Interchange Receipt when empty container is returned. Should any damage is found, cost of repairing damage will be deducted from the deposit with any balance to be refunded to payer. Consignee shall be fully liable for the damage should the deposit does not cover the full repair.


Tariff Container Handling – Storage Services 
Based on Ministry of Communication Letter Number PR.1302/20 Phb2005 dated 13 December 2005 and Decree of Board Directors PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Number HK 56/4/15/PI-II-05 dated 14 December 2005. 

Empty and Full Imported container will be counted as follows: 
1st Period    : 1st day to 3rd days is free Time
                  : 4th day to 10th day will be counted 200% per day 
                    from basic tariff per day
2nd Period  : 11th day up to the next is counted 300% per day
                    from basic tariff 


Empty and Full Export/Inter Island container will be counted as follows: 
1st Period    : 1st day up to 5th day is counted as 1-day basic tariff
                  : 6th day up to 10th day will be counted 200% per day
                    from basic tariff per day 
2nd Period   : 11th day up to the next is counted 300% per day 
                    from basic tariff

b. Full                          IDR22,500/20GP             IDR45,000/40GP per box/day

c. OH/OW/OL                IDR52,000/20GP             IDR104,000/40GP
