Further to announcement on OOCL Green Week to be held in the first week of July, we are pleased to share the following activities to be held from June 29 to July 5, 2008. All staff are encouraged to participate in one or more activities during OOCL Green Week.

Green Campaign - Monday, 30 June 2008 & Tuesday, 1 July 2008
With encouraging feedback from last year's EP awareness campaign through e-Card sending to our customers, vendors, and business partners during OOCL Green Week, we shall continue similar campaign with focus on "The Environment: We take it personally" -i.e. alertness on practical day-to-day activities to support the Environmental Protection.

Green Awareness - Wednesday, 2 July 2008
Documentary viewing: "aninconvenienttruth" and staff participation in contributing "My Green Ideas" on day-to-day activities to support the Environmental Protection (to be held during lunch break; lunch provided) 

Fun Learning @ Green "BankTree" - Thursday, 3 July 2008
Come and join the fun learning at Sanggar Kirai's Green "BankTree", in Cinere, South Jakarta. Learn great varities of tree species and how they are cultivated. Also learn how to turn household waste into natural compost, and many more... Register now !!!

Green Bazaar - Friday, 4 July 2008
Thanks to Organizing Committee, we have great opportunity to work together with WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Indonesia in organizing a Green Bazaar and fund raising program at BRI Center Park in our building complex. Lots of merchandise and activities shall be offered to promote green awareness and environmental protection. All proceeds from the bazaar and fundraising from such event shall be donated to WWF to support their on-going EP initiatives.

Finally, as environmental protection is an ongoing endeavor, we look forward to your participation and support to make OOCL Green Week 2008 a meaningful and successful event.
