The USA and Canadian governments are now enforcing requirements of ISPM 15, the international agreement of solid wood packing materials. ISPM 15 requires that any solid wood packing material to be treated either by methyl bromide or heat treatment, with an approved mark on all such articles by an approved treatment facility.
