ANNOUNCEMENT
Rate Restoration
for Korea to Intra-Asia Trade

Dear Customers,

In order to offer a fine quality of service to our customers and to make up for lines increasing overhead costs such as bunker prices continuously soaring, costly charter hire and difficulties in controlling containers like excessive free time etc, the member lines of the Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) covering trade between Korea origins and Intra-Asia destinations wish to inform the shipping public of the rate restoration plan for all shipments from Korea to Intra-Asia with effect from 1st June and 15th June 2008.

The Lines are fully appreciative of your deep understandings and confident that our customers will support this plan which is absolutely necessary for lines to continue meeting the high standard of service required of them.


£ Rate Restoration:

(1) Effective Date: 1st June 2008
- US$50/TEU and US$100/FEU on top of current rates
On corridor of Korea / Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia
- US$30/TEU and US$50/FEU on top of current rates
On corridor of Korea / Taiwan

(2) Effective Date: 15th June 2008
- US$30/TEU and US$50/FEU on top of current rates
On corridor of Korea / Hong Kong & South China
