2. Equipment Type Availability

Container flow through Riga Commercial Port area is handled by independent company Baltic Container Terminal Ltd (BCT). BCT Quayside is 490 meters with water depth 10.06m. Total container yard capacity consists of 5300 groundslots which allows storage of over 15000TEU at any time. Productivity level during loading/discharging is up to 50 moves per hour.

Modern cargo handling equipment is used on the terminal. There are three quayside gantry cranes, six railmounted gantries, six 25 ton forklifts, two reachstackers and a wide range of smaller FLT's for warehouse and CFS activities.
