Customer Advisory: Philippines Customs Inbound Cargo Release Update

Dear Valued Customers,

Please note Philippines Customs now requires the information for Final Delivery/ Destination if different than what is stated in the PLACE OF DELIVERY field on the OOCL Bill of Lading (BL) to be indicated within the first 5 lines of the BL description. In the event that the BL description field is already utilized, said remarks may also be indicated within the 10 lines of the marks and numbers field.

Therefore if the Final Delivery/ Destination information is different than the Place of Delivery field on the OOCL BL,  the shipper must provide the Final Delivery/Destination information  on the BL shipping instructions submitted to OOCL Documentation.

Should you have any questions or require assistance with regards to this advisory, please contact or email our customer service department.
