1. Road Limitation

·         Container weight cannot exceed 30 Metric tons.

2. Terminal Limitation

• Weight upto 30 metric tons tons acceptable . Prior notification and approval required if container weight exceeds 30 metric tons but less than 35 metric tons.

3. Transshipment Restrictions

• DG cargo in transshipment is not allowed.

4. Cargo Weight Limitations

•   Container weight cannot exceed 30 Metric tons.

5. Dangerous Cargo Restrictions

•  Subject to approval by local operations.

6. Transit Cargo Restrictions

• DG cargo in transit is not allowed.

7. Customs Requirements

• All Original documents required  (B/l, Packing List, Commercial invoice, Certificate of Origin, etc)
• Commercial Invoice & Certificate of Origin to be legalized by Chamber of Commerce and attested by Yemen Embassy otherwise a fine will be imposed.
• In the absence Yemen Embassy attestation, there will be a penalty of USD100 against official receipt/actual as per tariff.
• In the absence of legalization of documents there will be a penalty of 10-20% of customs duties. Against official receipt/actual as per tariff
• If the Cargoes are exempted from duty, Consignee should arrange Exemption certificate, or otherwise Custom Duty will be applicable as per Custom Tariff.
• Customs Duties: 15-20% of invoice value (subject to change and as per actual)
