Morocco , officially the Kingdom of Morocco, is the most westerly of the North African countries. It is one of three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. It is bordered by Spain to the north , Algeria to the east and By Mauritania to the South.

It has a population of over 35 million and an area of 700,550 square kilometers . The political capital is Rabat, although the largest city is Casablanca.

Morocco is a constitutional monarchy with an elected parliament.The King of Morocco holds vast executive and legislative powers, including the power to dissolve the parliament.

It is an ethnically diverse country with a rich culture and civilization .

Morocco is a member of the United Nations and belongs to the Arab League, Arab Maghreb Union, Organization of Islamic cooperation , the Non –Aligned Movement and the Community of Sahel-Saharan states.
