Update On Situation In Paksitan After Benazir Bhutto's Assasination
On Thursday 27, December 2007 former prime minister and chairperson of the Pakistan People’s Party Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a gun and suicide attack minutes after she addressed a huge election rally at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi.
Fear and chaos ruled the city as news spread about former prime minister's death.
Violent protest continued across the country as armed protesters took to the streets.
PIA has cancelled all its flights and the railway officials have suspended the movement of trains.
All financial institutions, banks, Karachi Stock Exchange & State Bank Of Pakistan will be closed as 3 days mourning declared.
