CUSTOMER ADVISORY: BL NATURE CODE FOR IMPORT SHIPMENTS

Dear Valued Customers,

Pursuant to the memorandum on the Migration of E-ACTS to E2M transshipment system issued last May 16, 2012, we would like to remind you that for all import shipments that are being discharged at the Manila North Harbor with destination located under Customs Bonded Warehouses and Philippine Economic Zone Authority, must be declared with BL Nature Code 24 – transshipment.

For shipments discharged at the Manila South Harbor, with destination located under Customs Bonded Warehouses and Philippine Economic Zone Authority, it is consignee’s discretion if they would like their shipments to be declared with BL Nature Code 24 - transshipment.

All import shipments booked up to Final Destination / Place of Delivery: Manila, Metro Manila are being declared with BL Nature Code 23 – import. To ensure smooth cargo releasing, if you would like your shipment to be declared with BL Nature Code 24 - transshipment for both Manila North and Manila South Harbors, the following information must be sent to us via e-mail at [email protected] at least two working days prior to arrival:

·         Bill of Lading Number

·         BL Nature Code to be used

·         Final Destination Remarks
