Operational Restrictions

1. Road Limitations

  • Maximum cargo weight acceptable in 20’DV container – 20 mts, in 40’DV container – 22 mts.
  • Maximum cargo weight acceptable in 20'RF container – 18 mts, in 40’RF/RQ container – 22 ts (including genset)

2. DG Restriction

  • Following information is required prior to shipment/arrival (export/import):

IMCO class, UN number, page number, flash point, gross weight, net weight, receptacle size (correct packaging description and number of packaging), technical name. 

3. Customs Requirements & Port Regulations

  • Imported commodities are subject to import duties and taxes. Custom clearance formalities are taken by importer/forwarder either in the gateway port or at inland location . Customs rates are usually expressed in %. Imported agricultural goods or food products might be subject to sanitary inspection.

4. Veterinary inspection

It is the consignee's responsibility to undergo compulsory veterinary clearance with their imported cargoes of animal origin.  Veterinary inspection is compulsory on arrival at Gdansk, Gdynia or Szczecin terminals.
