Customer advisory: MOL Prosperity

OOCL would like to inform our valued customers of the latest situation in regards to their cargo on board the MOL Prosperity, which reported a fire whilst sailing from Hong Kong at night on July 1 , 2009.

As a result of the fire on board, there is possible damage of the cargo stored in Hold 7. A total of 58 containers have been discharged in Hong Kong for survey. A notification has been sent to all affected customers to arrange for a joint survey.

Other containers which have not been affected will continue on board the MOL Prosperity with its new schedule. Estimated date of departure from Hong Kong is July 18 00:01 and estimated time of arrival in Singapore is July 21 06:00.

General Average has been declared by the ship owner. Customers are requested to follow the detailed instructions from the Adjuster for cargo release. Customer can visit the below link for the GA Adjuster website for more information http://www.rhlg.com/clients/default.aspx
