Situation at the Port of Nhava Sheva, India - Update August 12, 2010

Dear Valued Customer,

Due to the collision of a container ship, “MSC Chitra”, and a break bulk cargo ship, M.V. Khalijia III on August 7, 2010, around five nautical miles off the Mumbai coast which resulted in oil spill from the ships and MSC Chitra ran aground, both Nhava Sheva Port and Mumbai Port were affected and vessel movements were finally suspended at midnight of the same day.

It is the sixth day after the collision and please see below the update for vessels and services that will affect OOCL.

We thank you for your patience and understanding of the present situation and we apologize for the possible delay of shipments that this may cause.
