Situation at the Port of Montreal – OOCL Montreal 180W

Dear Valued Customers,

There is no further development with the Port of Montreal labour dispute. All stakeholders are working collectively to restore the fluidity and offer viable alternatives in the interim.

Due to our inability to access the Port of Montreal, this is to advise that the inbound vessel OOCL Montreal 180W will now call the Port of Halifax on July 22nd.

All cargo will be discharged in Halifax and arrangements will be made to forward cargo to final destinations. Due to our inability to access Montreal, the additional costs incurred will be for the account of cargo. OOCL customer service colleagues will communicate those costs so cargo release may take place.

If you wish to take delivery of your cargo at Halifax, please immediately confirm to OOCL customer service team.

At this time we will not be accepting any export bookings due to time constraints. We will communicate our ability to accept export bookings for future sailings once the schedule has been finalized.

We deeply regret of the inconveniences that the situation might have caused. Future developments and updates will be broadcast accordingly.
